не думаю, что détaillant = distributeur

retailer / "ri:teIl@(r) / noun
1(company) détaillant m;
2(person) détaillant/-e m/f.

Ритейл - от англ. retail - продавать в розницу - направление деятельности предприятия по развитию розничных точек.
РИТЕЙЛЕР - розничный продавец.

distributeur по "русски" - "диллер"
