A specific set-up was used during the experiments conducted with the objective of identifying where the polymer concentrated. A sample port was constracted using low volume tubing. The tip of the sample line was placed in the hollow space between rock wedges. The latter were used to stop the upper core from crushing the sample line during leakoff.
