I found mine through Inkom agency http://www.incom.ru/flatsrent/ basic terms are: realtor's fee is one monthly rent amount, another one is the retainer and you pay one month's rent upfront when moving in |

2 Nina: I have to tell you that rent situation in Moscow is really outrageous after the New Year: almost all my friends' landlords/-ladies have raised the monthly payment by 100 bucks at least. This is just the bloody fact of that bloody business. A piece of advice: never, never believe internet ads; do not publish your own ad - your phone will be spammed to death. I have another thing to tell you which might be of use but through email (maybe tomorrow or one of these days). |
By the way have a look what ГК (Гражданский кодекс) says about your situation: may be you landlady simply have no rights to rise you rent. |
Natasha_77 you can say it here in a PM or in email or in public. doesnt matter and i know that is the way the business goes. but as a consumer i also know what quality is and what isnt. the apartment is not quality and she cannot reasonably ask the sum she is asking -***_ i doubt i have any rights as a foreigner and i doubt there is anything in there about the landlady who rents but pays no taxes on teh profits :) |

Nina79 You have all the rights as a tenant. And the fact that she does not pay taxes on her rental income makes her situation worse - not yours! Not to mention that you are a wife of a Russian citizen and a mother of a Russian citizen and should be eligible for something in terms of residency/citizenship rights. It is always useful to check the legislation. |

Дима, Вы в самом деле думаете, что хозяева квартир околачиваются на этих досках объявлений??? Да большинству из них проще сдать квартиру через агентство (и подороже выйдет, и более безопасно), тем более хозяин комиссию не платит. Могу сказать по богатому опыту (своему и друзей) - найти без посредника кв-ру в Москве почти нереально (если только знакомые не предложат), да и то нет 100% гарантии, что эта кв-ра будет Вас устраивать. Я пока могу предложить для Нины только вариант немного снизить расходы на услуги посредника, если она не найдет ничего другим способом. |

ИМХО, гораздо дешевле (и по деньгам и по нервам) принять новые условия хозяйки. Снять квартиру в Москве сегодня дешевле 600 долл почти нереально, плюс переезд, комиссия агенту и риски |

Для _***_ касательно юридических вопросов: - в договоре аренды обычно указывается срок, в течение которого стоимость фиксирована, но это обычно 6-12 мес., не более. После этого хозяева вправе поднимать стоимость, выгонять жильцов (с предупреждением, разумеется) и т.д. При чем тут гражданство России? А если Вы намекаете на то, что можно припугнуть хозяйку тем, что она не платит налоги - Вы думаете, что сможете нормально дальше снимать квартиру после этих, мягко говоря, намеков? |

Ads placed in the Internet are of no use at all for this issue. Don't waste your time. There will be stinky accomodations with leaking taps some 30 min from the metro hyped as "nice flats close to the metro". Only Incom and Miel are reliable but they are expensive. Susan I'll write you more soon, no time now. |

I don't think about that part of my life. I have buried that in the past and don't like to talk/think about it. I deny this/that part of my life. (this is usually when the part we are discussing is associated with bad people/things ie. abusive parents who we have rejected) |
