Subject: to put a mesh over This is a laser scanner which we've created here at our studio. A couple of our technical wizards have put this together for us. Once the basic design is completed, and the model scanned into the computer it's ready for the art department, where it's modelled and painted. And then we would put a mesh over it. That's the way we'd construct our model.Спасибо |

похоже, они лазерным дальномером сканируют объект и получают набор точек (3-координатную матрицу). Потому на эту матрицу точек /сетку узлов натягивается форма поверхности. Так они строят форму модели сабж - что-то типа натянуть поверхность по узловым точкам сетки |
