Slam Juice, Can you give a context for "sleeping rough"? It may well be "na ulitse", but not necessarily: sleep rough - To sleep in the open without proper shelter. |

I guess then "na ulitse" must be quite all right. Here is something for you concerning the "environmental lawyer": "Environmental studies is more social sciences and politics where you'll get an overview over the basic geological sciences and also the history and politics of environmental changes, policy, movements etc. Environmental sciences focuses more on the actual science part of effects of various things on the environment. So as an environmental science major you'd be more likely to do a chemical analysis of a body of water near a major polluting sight while as an environmental studies major you'd be more likely to analyze the pros/cons of the kyoto protocol and reasons why the USA hasn't signed it and if it should. Geosciences are more oceanography/geology; study of the physical make-up of the earth. Careers would look something like politician, environmental laywer, academia, field researcher, environmental advocacy, NGOs, think tanks, etc." |

environmental lawyer - возможно, "юрист-эколог" не совсем уверена, но специализация такая есть точно действительно, предполагается владение не только правовыми знаниями, умениями и навыками, но и экологическими часто такая квалификация присваивается экологам, получившим второе - юридическое - образование... |
