Subject: taking white collar to the cleaners Как бы это по русски сказать?-It's always a pleasure -I know what you mean. -I brought 200,000 with me. Ситуация такая, что девушка наняла парня, чтобы он выяснил для нее, где в данный момент находится другой парень. Он выяснил, но потребовал за информацию в два раза больше, чем договаривались. Девушка соглашается, платит, а потом идет вышеозначенный диалог. Смысл, как я понимаю в том, что она еще больше денег с собой прихватила, а он вроде продешевил. Но вот первую ее фразу (идет сразу после получения ею информации) я понять не могу. |

Ну если брать white collar как служащего, можно предположить нечто типа: выводить на чистую воду Имхо |

в приведенном вам диалоге, совершенно непонятно кто что говорит. На самом деле первая реплика принадлежит информатору, а последние две реплики произносятся девушкой In New York, Miss Parker and Sydney walk up to Johnny as he sits at a table on a sidewalk outside of a shop. Miss Parker asks him where Jarod is and Johnny tells her it'll cost her a hundred grand. Sydney tells him that wasn't the arrangement, but Miss Parker interrupts him and says that, actually, it was. She opens her briefcase and pulls out a manilla envelope with $100,000 in it and hands it to Johnny. He tells her that Jarod is at the Marquis Casino in Las Vegas. Then he smiles and says that it's always a pleasure taking "white collar" to the cleaners.
