Subject: incoterms
Good day!

If the Russian says "фрахт до склада ДИСТРИБЬЮТОРА" - in English, is it "FOB Distributor's Warehouse"? Or do I need to know about customs payments, etc. before I can call it FOB?

Thanks. K

ex works - means that the burden of costs passes to addressee the minute goods leave the factory/warehouse/etc of seller.

i think my example is different, unless i'm mistaken?

am now thinking it's DDP or DDU, but i would need to know payment/insurance terms. is there a more general term?

If the original says "фрахт до склада ДИСТРИБЬЮТОРА", I would not recommend adding any terms, but instead translate it as is: "freight to the distributor's warehouse".

(besides packing, loading and inland freight FOB also includes terminal charges and loading on vessel, so it does not fit in here).

Juliza,

I agree with you. That's what I put down since I don't have enough information to call it anything else. Thank you.
