And shouldn't you be there either? - А ты тоже не должен быть в школе? The answer would be, "Yes, I should." - Нет, я должен быть в школе (отрицательный ответ) or "No, I shouldn't." - Да, я не должен быть в школе (утвердительный ответ). Может быть вы и правы, но я не уверен. |

ИМХО: Shouldn't you be in school today? - Разве ты не должен быть сегодня в школе? Yes, I should. And shouldn't you be there too? - Должен. А разве ты не должен тоже там быть? На второй вопрос спрашивающим предполагается (именно предполагается) утвердительный ответ (а какой ответ будет на самом деле, в данном случае не важно): Yes, I should. - Да, должен. |

"Shouldn't you be there as well/too?" would be correct. I don't have a printed reference to the grammar rule, but you can take it to the bank! What Аристарх and kintorov are talking about is correct only for affirmative phrases, not for questions. |
