Subject: Patrol designations again - AAAARRRRGGGHH!!!! Great, just noticed that my first post somehow got screwed up... my question was whether someone could help with the translation of "escort patrol", "ambush patrol", "mounted patrol" and "standing patrol", obviously in a purely military context. For definitions see the previous post.

| mounted patrol and ambush patrol are to be found in multitran, escort patrol is likely to be конвой (maybe). Same source. |
