What a frighful combination of words! OK, let us try and untangle this Medusa's hairdo.

All below - IMHO

Say there is some Customer Service Office. That Office has a Department of Client Monitoring. That department has a Head. That Head has a deputy.

Now build this together: The Deputy Head of Client Monitoring Dpt., Customer Services."

NB All terms are taken exampli gratia.

To summarise - in a bank say in the UK this will be:

Assistant Manager, Customer Support Team, Customer Services :-)

if I were you I wouldn't even try finding out! In fact I'd prrobably add some more words to it, just to narrow the scope of my responsibilities down to virtual zero; print my business cards on A3 paper and then ask for pay rise.

How do you "recruit" clients? - just wondering ...

I wanted to ask that too. But I am shy. Unlike some.

Guys, just for the sake of enlightening future generations of askers who may be wondering about 'recruiting clients':
Indeed, clients can be recruited and there are plenty of organizations engaging in this particular type of activities! E.g.:
Recruiting Clients
Problem: A service group is having a hard time finding clients who need or want their service. For instance, a campus publication if facing a drought of individuals or groups who will buy an advertising subscription. The goal of this document is to specify consulting techniques for helping our own clients reach the organizations that they are trying to serve. [University of North Carolina]

Thank you, this is very helpful.

The fact of the matter is that the original question was purely rhetoric for some of us (it's a commercial/investment bank or some such - they don't normally "recruit" clients, they usually attract them - or develop business). Consider it an inside joke of sorts. Between friends :-) We are a funny bunch here ...
