Перевожу венгерскую пьесу про Дьердя Лукача, герой ссылается на выражение Черчиля period of consequence.Реплика выглядит след.образом: "Если мы приняли какое-то решение свободно, то должны отказаться от части нашей свободы, чтобы нести ответственность за последствия нашего решения. Кто не способен на это – конченый человек. Презираю запутанные отношения и смешанные чувства. У Черчилля есть отличный афоризм: Period of consequence . Лишь полнота обладает реальностью. Не знает ли кто, случайно, в каком контексте это выражение встречается у Черчиля? Заранее спасибо |
