In 2005 CT selected the NP X60 replacement material for pipe, fittings flanges and valves. After extensive research and discussions they have nominated Vallourec & Mannessmann (V&M) (Manufacturers of the original material) as the pipe mill and FAD to manufacture the fittings and flanges. The grades of material being selected as X56 for pipe and F56 & F60, respectively for fittings and flanges.

The barrel X56 forgings are now expected in September 06. FAD has to get a new heat cast as they did not have enough of the material we wanted.
