Говорят ли вместо 'to come loose'  'to wiggle loose'? 

Контекст: мышь с зажатым в мышеловке хвостом дергалась, извивалась и  вырвалась-таки из плена

'to wiggle' and 'to wriggle' are 99% identical, if not synonymous:

to w(r)iggle = to twist and turn with quick movements.

to w(r)iggle loose or to w(r)iggle out of sth = to twist and turn with quick movements until you're (free from sth/have escaped from sth).

to come loose = to become (detached from/separate from) sth or to fall off sth.

Example:

* 'he repeatedly turned the screw until it came loose in his hand'.

Synonym: 'came away in his hand'.
