To achieve torque lockup, ensure that the bucket is fully crowded back onto the boom stops.

When tramming with an empty bucket ensure that the bucket is crowded forward and parallel to the floor. This will increase visibility and allow for quicker emergency stopping. Allow for a greater stopping distance when tramming fully loaded. To achieve torque lockup, ensure that the bucket is fully crowded back onto the boom stops.

Tram - Used in connection with moving self-propelled mining equipment. A tramming motor may refer to an electric locomotive used for hauling loaded trips or it may refer to the motor in a cutting machine that supplies the power for moving or tramming the machine.
