| It's just a polite form of address, such as 'Уважаемый Иван Иванович'. It's used with high linguistic registers rather than standard or colloquial ones – such as formal speeches. |

Вообще-то "Уважаемый Иван Иванович" - это обычный регистр, не высокий. Тогда уж надо-ть перевести как "глубокоуважаемые члены..." (это уж если не "досточтимые" :-)) А вот как перевести Ranking Member? |
