Oscillation Test и point jewel

Subject: Oscillation Test и point jewel metrol.

Перевожу инструкцию по эксплуатации ротационного вискозиметра
Oscillation Test — словарь дает испытание на вибростойкость, но терзают смутные сомнения.., а point jewel честно говоря вообще нет идей :( Подшипник? Подскажите пожалуйста :)

10.1.1 Oscillation Test
The Oscillation Tests checks whether the measuring apparatus of ViscoQC™ is in good working order. It proves that sensitive parts such as the spring and the point jewel are not damaged or worn. The "System Information" window shows the latest value "x.x %". To start a new oscillation test, tap . The oscillation test starts automatically. A
successful Oscillation Test shows a very smooth decrease of torque. The final torque value should be between 0.0 % and 0.4 % to be valid. You get a message "Finished Successfully".

Oscillation Test -- колебательный тест. Выводят крутильный маятник из равновесия и смотрят, как он колеблется

point jewel -- опорный камень, на который опирается ось крутильного маятника, как в механических часах
