| The English is near-perfect, but 'constitutes making available' should say 'constitutes making it available'. |
| this was probably done to avoid a duplication: making IT available until IT reaches... |

Cadcat: Having two 'it's close together is very common. Similar example: 'I picked it up and threw it in the bin'. You wouldn't say 'I picked it up and threw in the bin', would you? The problem is that if you leave out the second 'it', the reader is going to ask "constitutes making what available?" |

johnstephenson: what would you say about "subsequent making available" then ) "subsequent what what what making what available?" These guys seem to omit words in every other sentence |

I've checked and it refers to the 'making available right' [a noun] – a business term relating to creative works and copyrighted material and the performers'/authors'/artists' rights to protect them, used in international treaties covering same since the mid-1990s. So I take back what I said at 16:12. You learn something new every day.... |

It seems to be short for 'making available on the market': 'making a product (eg, a piece of equipment or an item of intellectual property) available on the market, through either sale, licensing, rental, franchising or some other arrangement, whether in return for payment or free of charge'. I'm not an expert, though. |
