Where is your sentence from? Is it a translation into English? Please show the whole paragraph. |

'теплокровные' would be 'warm-blooded', wouldn't it? * Russian definition: http://goo.gl/jZNDwG |
it certainly would. |

00002: ***Англичане термина не нашли*** That's why I asked the asker to show us the whole paragraph. It would have given us some context, but also shown whether it's a translation into English, and if so how good the English in it is, because I've never heard of 'warm-dwelling'. But unfortunately she hasn't posted it.... |

"If you compare the success of different species within terrestrial communities, warm-dwelling plant and animal species have increased," adds Prof. Dr. Katrin Böhning-Gaese, director of the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre. Also, some cool-dwelling terrestrial species have decreased. In freshwater and marine communities, the effects of the temperature increase apparently manifested themselves in more complex ways. But even here, the signs are visible: the populations of warm-dwelling marine fish in the North Sea are on the rise. |

Thanks, yuliya. The English in that paragraph is fine, so 'warm-dwelling'/'cool-dwelling' are probably the correct terms. |
