Subject: Музей истории религии gen. Как правильно перевести Музей истории религии?1) Historical Museum of Religion или 2) Museum of the History of Religion? Встретила и такой вариант 3) Museum of Historic Religions, совсем странный. Спасибо |

2). 1) is incorrect, because it suggests the museum is historical (old) rather than being a museum about the history of religion. 3) is also incorrect as you suspected, because it suggests that the museum is about 'historic religions' (whatever that means), and so doesn't include 'non-historic religions'. |
