1.may have changed- мог бы изменить? (а что тогда значит might have changed)
2.we are reminded that each of us ARE...(почему не is?0

1) may have changed - "может изменить" (так, чтобы остался результат этого изменения) , "может сделать так, чтобы изменился (мир)", "может стать причиной перемен в мире"
...
might have changed
- "вероятно/возможно, изменил" (когда речь идет о поиске причины произошедшего изменения) или
- "мог бы и изменить" (упрек),
- "мог изменить" - в смысле имел возможность изменить мир так, чтобы в нем произошли перемены (но не изменил).
2) we are reminded that each of us ARE - вероятно, "each of us" здесь использовано в значении "все мы". Я бы даже не заморачивалась. Смысл понятен.

Еще, may - подразумевает наличие возможности (в отличие от can, подразумевающего физическую способность)

'each of us are' is a mistake, as you say. It should be 'is', as 'each' is always singular.

The vocabulary used in this paragraph is excellent (10/10) but the grammar's imperfect (8/10) as, apart from the 'each are/is' mistake, there's no verb associated with the second half of the sentence from 'and how their courage' onwards. The author could have avoided this by putting 'AS WELL AS how their courage' rather than 'and how their courage'. This would have linked the second half of the sentence back to 'are highlighted'.

Much less importantly, the author tends to use commas where they're not required, eg:
* 'one in particular, may have changed' => 'one in particular may have changed'
* '.... our world, can seem' => '.... our world can seem';
* 'each of us, (are)' => 'each of us (are)'.

В заголовке "may have done".
Далее в тексте та же самая мысль другими словами: "it’s just possible that ... has done ..."

Мог бы изменить.
(Может быть, не изменил, а может быть, и изменил, но неизвестно, кто. Изменивший мог быть он. А мог быть ты.)
