Didanosine (ddI): ddI should no longer be procured as it is no longer recommended as an alternative nucleoside reverse-transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) in adult and adolescent second-line regimens due to toxicity, lower efficacy and inconvenient dosing requirements.
