But it's Putin and his Russian is more direct and less sophisticated, so "You're distorting the truth/facts somewhat here."Как правильпо это первести? |

| If it's Ru->En, a more direct form is "Why are you twisting the facts?" or, if he's referring to sth he (Putin)/Trump has said, "Why are you twisting (my/his) words?" |
