Quarterly MasterCard Reporting (QMR) is the process by which Principal Licensees report operational metrics to MasterCard. The MasterCard Rules, ‘Section 3 – Member Obligations’, outlines this requirement. This ‘Acquiring Definitions’ document illustrates the Issuing data required for complete and accurate reporting. As a reminder,
the data is due to us through our online reporting tool, QMR Direct, by the 15th of the month following the quarter end. Late, missing or incorrect data will be subject to fines.

The following definitions are provided to assist MasterCard, Maestro and Cirrus Acquirers with QMR reporting. These definitions apply to all Acquiring MasterCard, Maestro and Cirrus QMR Forms
