- Fast transfer conveyor
It is a simple transfer chain that moves ingots lowered by the lifting table onto the cooling conveyor. This action also reduces the gap (space) between ingots on the cooling conveyor. A consequence of this is that the cooling conveyor length or operating speed may, for the same cooling time, be less than if the ingot spacing were larger. The transfer runs continuously.
The transfer comprises two rollers chain driven by a motor. Each chain is running between two sprockets. THE DRIVEN SPROCKETS SHARE THE SHAFT WITH THE COOLING CONVEYOR.
