Eco-sourced plants are plants grown from seeds collected from naturally occurring plant communities. Just because a plant is native doesn’t necessarily mean it should grow in your area. When you are planting eco-sourced plants, it is important you make sure you talk to your nurseries about where the seed source was collected. Reputable nurseries should have good records of where seeds were collected and plants should be labelled.
