Request a security freeze. You can place a security freeze on your credit report which will prohibit a credit reporting agency from releasing your credit report without your authorization. This prevents new accounts from being opened using your information. Please note that requesting a security freeze may delay, interfere with or prevent timely approval of any requests you make for new loans, credit, employment, housing or other services. The credit reporting agencies will place a security freeze on your credit report within three business days after they get your request. Within five business days, they will send you a letter to confirm the security freeze. They will give you a unique personal identification number (PIN) or password, or both, which you will need to remove or temporarily lift the security freeze.

Как это лучше перевести? Запросить замораживание кредитных операций??? в интересах безопасности? не совсем понимаю, что имеется в виду под credit report.
