4.3. Mobilization phase
The mobilization phase will begin on July 1, at which time 24-hour operations will commence (24-hour metocean analyst coverage in SOC (Shore Operation Center); SOC Manager and Ice Analyst working 0600 – 1700 and on call for 24-hours) in preparation for the drill vessel’s expected departure from Stavanger on July 15. The SOC will be expected to produce metocean forecasts through the COPD at 6-hour intervals, ice analyses updated as often as necessary, and daily reporting. Leading indicators will continue to be monitored until the drill vessel can mobilize to the drill site. This period will also include the *pre-laying of the anchor operation*, for which strategic support from the SOC will be necessary.
