При въезде в Баксанское ущелье плотный облачный покров резко обрывается и дальше нас сопровождает солнце и абсолютно чистое небо. По мере продвижения по ущелью погода начинает портиться, приближающиеся горы окутывают плотные сгущающиеся тучи и начинает казаться что дальше нас ждут неприятности, как минимум в виде сильного ливня. К вечеру погода стабилизируется, немного прохладно, но без осадков.
Раннее утро, роса, небольшая облачность. После выхода на высоту 1340м - опять чистое небо и жарко, практически нет ветра, весь день погода отличная. К вечеру, с наступлением темноты - слабый, но теплый дождь, который продолжается до середины ночи.
С утра - опять подъем, на этот раз до высоты 2430м. По склонам горных вершин - местами туман, который появляется неизвестно откуда и так же быстро исчезает.Можно фотографировать одну и ту же вершину с интервалом в 5 минут и все кадры будут разными. Природа - просто великолепна, море грибов и ягод, рассыпанных в хвойнике по берегу бурлящей речки Адырсу. Фауна этих мест тоже разнообразна. По словам проводников, в лесах водятся медведи, ниже по ущелью - дикий кабан (наблюдали семейку, двигавшуюся вниз к воде), косуля, заяц. Выше в горах -
кавказский тур. Несколько раз на глаза попадались белки с абсолютно черной
шубкой. К обеду погода понемногу ухудшается, вершины скрываются за тучами и начинается редкий прохладный дождик. Возвращаемся к цивилизации... По мере спуска тучи расходятся и Баксанское ущелье снова встречает нас солнцем.

On our coming to the Baksan Valley dense upper clouds suddenly disappear and further on the absolutely clear sky and the shining sun accompany us. But the farther we go through the Baksan Valley, the worse weather gets. The approaching mountains are capped by dark and thick clouds and it seems we’ll get into trouble or, at least, will be caught by a heavy shower. By the evening the weather gets settled – it’s a bit cool, but dry.
Early in the morning - the dew damps the ground; the sky is a bit clouded. Having climbed at a height of 1340 m (above sea level) we see the clear sky again. It’s windless and the weather keeps fine for the whole day. In the evening, when it gets dark, slight but warm rain begins, which goes on till the middle of the night.
Next morning – this time we climb at a height of 2430 m (above sea level). Mountain peaks are in thick mist which appears from nowhere and quickly disappears. We could shoot one and the same peak at 5 minutes intervals for several times and each time the picture would be different. The nature is magnificent and picturesque. There are lots of mushrooms and berries in fir wood on the bank of the rapid river called the Adir-su. The local fauna is also very rich. As the guides say, there are bears in forests, and down to the Valley the wild bore, the roe and the hare can be met. Also the Caucasian tur ranges higher in the mountains. By the way we saw the wild pig’s family going down to water and squirrels with absolutely black fir.
By the lunch time the weather starts getting worse, mountain peaks are hided behind the clouds and cool thin rain begins. We return to civilization. As we come down the Baksan Valley the clouds melt and the sun shines brightly again.
