Subject: Бассейн суточного регулирования gen. Привет! Словарь дает daily runoff pond и daily pondage basin, но т.к. речь идет о ГЭС, словарь предлагает второй вариант.Однако на сайтах .uk такое словосочетание нигде не встречается (впрочем, как и первый), что нахожу несколько странным. Может, кому-то попадались другие варианты (глоссарии) или кто-то может привести пример, кому эта тема попадалась, а лучше, кто в ней специализируется? |

Вот нашел похожее (это направление для дальнейшего поиска): Run-of-the-river hydroelectricity (ROR) is a type of hydroelectric generation whereby little or no water storage is provided. Run-of-the-river power plants may either have no storage at all, or a limited amount of storage, in which case the storage reservoir is referred to as pondage. Идем дальше - нашлось вот что: regulation/regulating pondage As the storage commences to spill, the release of water through the power station generally ceases, and Southern Hydro operates the regulation pondage as agreed with Goulburn-Murray Water to achieve a smooth transition to the situation where water is spilling over the pondage. The regulating pondage is controlled by a gated regulating dam, which can be used to a minor extent to reduce the duration of flows above channel capacity downstream. As spill from the main dam commences, water releases through the power station and the irrigation valves are generally turned off to reduce flow to maintain the flow at Tallandoon below channel capacity as long as possible. Release through the power station may be resumed when flows have receded to the extent that the release will not cause channel capacity at Tallandoon to be exceeded. |
