Subject: Как перевести except no requirements? gen. Коллеги, нужна помощь! Перевожу спецификацию на OCTG, подобное за свой практику еще не встречал. Ниже даю выдержку из текста:4.10 Impact Energy 4.10.1 Pipe, accessory items (excluding float equipment), couplings, coupling stock, coupling blanks, and connector material shall meet the requirements of Reference V except no requirements for Grade H-40 material. 4.10.2 Pipe fracture toughness testing (Charpy V-Notch) for Grades J-55 and K-55 shall be conducted at +70° ± 5°F and for all other grades at +32° ± 5°F unless specified otherwise on the individual purchase order. 4.10.3 For all products having a specified minimum yield strength of 80 ksi or greater, the minimum percent shear shall be seventy-five (75) percent. |

соответствовать требованиям Reference V, если таковые для материала марки H-40 в данном документе установлены ( дословно: если только они там не отсутствуют) |

... но без (выполнения/учета) требований для материала марки Н-40 то бишь для материала Н-40 не действуют никакие требования из ссылки V |

Enote - в таком случае было бы "except requirements" без no? А здесь просится "Except THERE ARE no requirements" |
| ну да, Except THERE ARE no requirements и значит, что нет (действия) никаких требований |

Enote + при том, что к данные требования не применяются к материалу Grade H-40. |
