prejudiceThe following situations do not prejudice the separation:
• linking bridges or walkways of non-flammable materials which are not used for storage of materials and whose openings are protected by approved fire protection barriers on at least one side (see Section 3.5.4)
• small protective roofs of non-flammable material (but not covered yards) which do not serve either operational or storage purposes
• chimney
If these requirements cannot be fulfilled, equivalent fire protection measures must be provided.
