- Disconnect the power cable from the data modulator or disconnect the mains voltage by tripping the primary fuse.
- Remove both side covers of the housing. They are fixed with clamps and Velcro-pads. The side covers can be carefully removed using a screwdriver at the indent.
- Remove the top cover after loosening the fixing screws.
- Remove the connecting cable at the assembly.
- Pull the assembly out of the data modulator after loosening its fixing screws.
Note: The assemblies in the data modulator are arranged in a number of levels. Some are arranged on a hinged mounting plate. To hinge open the mounting plate one must loosen the fixing screws at the stay bolt (see figure on page 8 - 5).
- Insert and fix the new assembly.
- Attach the connecting cable.
- If hinged open, close and fix the mounting plate.
