1)"Я думал (ожидал), что они включат моё имя в список."
(1)"I expected that they would put my name on the list" или (2)"I expected them to put my name on the list"
Как правильнее?

2) Nationality и Citizenship - Russian и ?

(1) both go. i personally prefer the second

(2) 'nationality' is POLITICAL, not ethnical affiliation. 'nationals' may mean both 'subjects' in monarchies (the netherlands, belgium, sweden, monaco, etc.) and 'citizens' in republics. actually, the modern monarchies call their subjects 'nationals.' one exception is the uk: it has 5 or six categories of 'nationality,' including 'citizens' (though it's a monarchy), 'nationals,' and (residually) 'subjects.'

so if you wanna say: национальность и гражданство, you've got to say 'citizenship' [first] russian and ethnic group russian/tatar/kazakh/jewish, etc. but then, this '5-й пункт' is understood with some difficulty in modern nation states. though there is ethnic awareness.

В подавляющем большинстве случаев Nationality и Citizenship - это одно и то же и означает гражданство. Если же вам непременно требуется отразить одну из национальностей многонационального государства (а, собссно, зачем?), попробуйте примерить, м.б. подойдет ethnic origin.

Но вообще не советую. Ибо для любого западника (и незападника тоже) гражданин России всегда будет Russian, будь он хоть татарином, хоть литовцем. Хоть даже нивхом *Ы*

2) Не совсем согласен с Valом.
Можно быть например по Nationality - мексиканцем,
и в то же время иметь Citizenship of USA - быть гражданином Америки.

arbus, я вам сильно советую прочитать вот эту статью:

и особо обратить внимание на различия в юридическом значении слова:
"The legal sense of nationality may often mean citizenship..."
В паспортах англоговорящих стран обычно стоит Nationality в значении "гражданство", regardless of ethnic origin of the holder.

Обращаю ваше внимание на "нетрадиционное" (с точки зрения этого форума) использование слова nationality в переводе "Архипелага ГУЛАГ" (на американский):
