Добрый вечер!
Помогите пожалуйста, зависла на строчке из песенки.
Вот она целиком, (играет в начале фильма про цирк).
Я очень смутно понимаю о чем вообще речь в самой последней строчке, и как вообще переводится сочетание "get smb. by". Помогите, пожалуйста! Заранее спасибо))

something that gets (smb) by = что-то, что позволяет не пропасть, дожить до завтрашнего дня (в прямом или переносном смысле)

выделенная строчка:
(выпьем/?) за завтрашний день. или за то, что нам поможет до него дожить
