На определенном трубопроводе, проложенном или заглубленном по дну моря/озера, контроль критических неисправностей, возникающих в стенках трубопровода или устранение уже определенной неисправности осуществляется с помощью размещенных по трубопроводу датчиков, фиксируемых с помощью пластины со сквозным отверстием, в которую вставляется датчик.
