Из контекста похоже, что "six-dollar" означает нечто вроде "пятое колесо в телеге" - то, без чего можно обойтись. В словарях нигде не нашла.

Меня интересует вот что:

1) Шестидолларовой банкноты нет, м.б. значение все-таки "то, чего нет" или "нечто чрезвычайно сложное"?
2) Используется ли в этом (переносном) смысле "six-dollar" только с "words", или и с другими существительными тоже?

Было бы здорово, если бы кто-то знал значение из речи... Спасибо заранее.
