"Depending upon the particular circumstances of any given matter (including in particular the extent of our potential liability, the availability of insurance cover, the nature and scope of our services and the other circumstances relevant to the requirement of reasonableness under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977) we may seek to agree with you that our aggregate liability to you and all Associated Persons arising out of or in connection with the Retainer shall be limited to a stated amount (the "Libility Cap").

Any agreed Liability Cap will be specified in writing, normally in the Retainer Letter."

Кстати, я пока перевожу "Retainer" и "Retainer Letter" соответственно как "Договор поручения" и "Уведомительное письмо" (последнее, может, лучше переводить просто как "Поручение"?). Для них контекст (оттуда же):

"When you instruct us to advise you on a new matter we shall normally send you a letter (a "Retainer Letter") confirming your instructions, save where the instructions constitute repeat business. The terms of that letter (if any) and these Terms and Conditions of Business will be incorporated in the contract between us (the "Retainer") for that matter."

И последний вопрос, коллеги: кто-нибудь может дать ссылочку, где можно посмотреть точную разницу в употреблении "except" и "save"? Знаю только, что "save" более, что ли, категорично и употребляется гораздо реже нежели "except".
