2kiker: добавьте "...against you". они примут это за реальную угрозу. У них вообще манера угрожать помягче, чем у нас. |

Well, I am not aware of an idiom (which doesn’t mean there isn’t any). But I think you can say: “We can do it in to ways: (explain here the “nice/easy way” and the “nasty/mean/hard way”). The choice is yours. “ Another way to express a threat is “or else”: Do what I tell - or else! (but it is a little harsh) |
