бывает, говорят и короче... типа: in 19xx, it IS (plannaed/expected) to make 100 new hires while maintaining staff at (around/approx.) 4200. |

Я так написал, показал носителю - он исправил it is expected to ... (я пропустил "is") и предложил такой вариант: In 1988, 100 employees are expected to be hired and a constant total of approx. 4,200 will be maintained |
