Subject: Complex Subject провертье правильность предложений, пожалуйста gambl.

-We expected him to come back towards evening.
-I have always thought you to be good friends,it so strange to find you to be quarreling- можно ли это употребить с глаголом would и как это будет тогда выглядеть?
-Everybody knows the Earth be hot once and to grow cooler afterwards.
-I expect him to hide from us somewhere now.
-Your mother only wishes you to tell her the whole truth.
-I think him to be quite unable to do such important work.
--Everyone hates, children to speak like wise old men.
-I think it unfair to punish her for that.
-She found it hard to forget this unpleasant incident.

First af all, there are no complex subjects in your sentences. Maybe you mean complex objects?

Maarrja, ошибки есть во временных формах инфинитива. Например: I expect him to hide from us somewhere now - неверно. Должно быть: I expect him to be hiding from us somewhere now.
Внимательно все проверьте (у меня лично пока времени нет Вам помочь, завтра посмотреть могу).

2. I have always thought you to be good friends, it's so strange to find you quarreling. (to be убрать, it's добавить). При чем тут would - не поняла. It would be so strange to find you quarelling, что ли? Можно, только смысл будет другой.

3. Everybody knows the Earth be hot once and to grow cooler afterwards. - Как-то странно звучит. Даже и не знаю, как поправить. Может, так: Everybody knows the Earth to have been hot once and to grow cooler afterwards. Чё-то не уверена.

7. Everyone hates children - очень некрасиво выглядит. Подберите другие слова. И конструкция не очень. Лучше Everyone hates people speaking....

если заменить на «consider» тогда можно сказать
I considered him being quite unable…
