Subject: Мороз кусает щеки! Как передать жгучий сибирский холод таким образом, чтобы это стало понятно иностранцу? Если этой фразой, какой глагол лучще использовать? Спасибо

"It's the kind of night that's so cold, when you spit it freezes before it hits the ground" :-) а если серьезно, то попробуйте "biting frost". |

Exposure to the Siberian temperatures for certain periods of time can make you freeze to death. You can easily get frostbitten. |

| Biting Siberian cold, думаю, будет понятно. Кусает щеки это ничто, а вот когда с ветерком наждачком трет ("хаюс" по-поморски) , вот это да (chill factor по-научному называется). |

| We usually say "burns your cheeks". Not that we get real Russian мороз in most of the U.S., not even the Дед variety ;-) |
