• All within-laboratory quality control data must be recorded and plotted in-house and also sent to the client. The accepted means for the standards must be reported to the client before the beginning of the re-assay program. The in-lab standards do not come with a between-laboratory standard deviation, and there is no record in the standard books of a round robin characterization program. Limits set for the standards should be similar to the limits used by the lab for the CDN standards. Obviously any check assay program done by the lab must be accompanied by a full QC insertion from the field.
