For though it would be as difficult here as in America to find in the universities any significant traces of the conception of the law, sometimes ascribed to the "analytical" jurist, as a rigid system in which deductive reasoning was the only tool needed by the judge in order to apply the law, yet problems of analysis, of clarification, and of definition form in most cases the hard core of jurisprudence teaching.
