The AFC piping general arrangements (G.A’s) and marked up isometric drawings shall be identified and used with P&IDs supplement for construction activities. They show the line piping components locations, routings, dimensions, bill of materials (shop and field), spool/weld numbering, paint/insulation system, line pipe class, WPS etc. They indicate orientations i.e. spectacle blinds, valves, etc. and tie in flanged connections with equipment nozzles. Moreover, The P&IDs identify the inline instruments and valves and line interconnection routings and heat tracing types between various equipment and lines. The marked up isometric spool shop drawings shall be used for fabrication, welding and painting activities prior to release for site erection.
