Subject: О казахском народе на английском lit. Помогите сделать красивый и правильный английский перевод:We are Kazakhs people which grazing cattle in the steppe. Not threatening anyone, we are a peaceful nation. To the happiness and luck had not left us, so that the enemy does not accidentally jumped on us, we keep a spear ready and know the value of a good word. We are people loyal in friendship; we are hospitable and generous... Мы, казахи, в степи пасем скот. Никому не угрожаем, мы — мирный народ. Так оригинал какой - русский? А английский - перевод? Сдайте профессионалам и не позорьтесь. |

| Это перевод с казахского на русский, и потом на английский. На русском звучит очень примитивно и вызывает улыбку. По-английски тоже, только еще хуже. |

Вариант: We, the Kazakhs, the people of the steppes are are known as friendly, hospitable and generous nation. Mostly occupied in breeding cattle and being no menace to the others we are peacefully dwelling in the vast expanses of our lands staying open and loyal to our friends but alert for the enemies whose pressure we will never bow to. Hail to Kazakhs! :)))) That's sadly ironic how multiple translation of the same text can utterly distort the initial idea of it. Alas! |
