Accumulator: minimizes pressure fluctuations and assures pressure for
torque back-up feature

The accumulator and check valve reduce pressure fluctuations in the power supply to
maintain the back-up feature. Should the pressure in the accumulator drop below 2000
psi, the pressure switch gives a signal indicating the back-up feature is no longer valid
