buying condominiums, co-ops and apartments are all legally different. apartment - individuals own their own apartments, not communal spaces. however, this term is most neutral condo - individuals own their own apartments and collectively the communal spaces co-op - individuals own stock in the co-op company against the apartment and repay (continue investing) to pay off the apartment, or something like that if the form of future ownership in a building under construction is unknown, then you are safer saying 'new apartment development/apartments under construction' because it's neutral |
