Prompts – are objects for users to select the information to be included in a report or document at a run time. Responding to prompts can be required or optional.
Prompted reports – allow user interaction during report execution. They require some input to finish the report content.

Page-by – this feature is the most useful in long reports as it enables a report to be divided into separate pages for viewing purposes based on an object. To view page-by axis, click Page-by Axis button on the toolbar. This action opens the Page-by panel showing the attributes for which you can filter the data to be included in the report.

Pivoting report data – this function enables you to quickly and easily rearrange data so it can be viewed from multiple perspectives. You can move objects to the rows, columns or Page-by field and remove an object from the report.
