Ex.: I need a frosty one after all this work — После такой работы не мешало бы выпить банку холодного пива.
Hey, toss me a frosty, will ya? —

1. What's worse than a glass of luke-warm beer?
2. A glass of luke-warm Near Beer. Is there really a market for that stuff?
3. QUESTION
Does luke warm beer get you drunk faster then cold beer.
Answer
I have found no evidence that luke warm beer will get you drunk faster, it will taste bad and be harder to drink warm. I would stick with cold beer. It's better that way. ChaCha again!

еще вариант: ... not chilled, not straight from the fridge

====

Is beer still nice even when not chilled?
I know chilled beer is best, but is it nice (and safe) to just drink a can of beer from a pack bought from a shop?

Up to room temp some beer is good. But that is mostly the darker beers. As the beer no matter type gets lighter the beer is not good at room temp. But then with just a little bit of cooling any beer is better. Until it get refrigerator cold. Then the lighter beers are good and the darker ones loss some of the taste.

If you like the taste of warm beer, then drink up! It won't harm you.
I prefer beer cool but not cold. Beer that is served too cold seems to detract from the flavor. We keep "the good stuff" in the basement - cool, dark and low humidity. It never sees a refrigerator. The Bud, however, goes in the fridge.

Итак, "room temp beer", "not chilled beer", "beer which not straight from the fridge" (по-моему, даже рифмуется), luke-warm beer.

Но...
/// It's not warm beer and it's not chilled beer. It's in between so you can actually taste it.

*"faster thAn cold beer" *
Why do British drink warm beer?
IT GOES DOWN FASTER THAN COLD BEER, TRY IT. EASIER TO BEER BONG!

goes down - "вставляет"?

tepid beer

- tepid beer
Ex.: Sanchez bolted upright as he always did, heart racing at childhood speed. He panted like a dog for minutes before regaining control, sweat running from under his thick hairline. The tepid beer was gulped in a single swallow.
- go down - быть проглоченным
Ex.: The child coughed and coughed because a piece of bread had gone down the wrong way.
