Well, turn that f-ing truck around. The home made over gauged bit did the trick, barely. The shoe went by the tight spot okay, but that casing is real tight going in and the collars are just squeezing by. Even a couple of extra millimeters on this size hole makes a difference. 311mm hole would have saved us 5-6 days now of cost, not to mention a lot of my sanity. We should have this cemented right away, then off to A-218 for spud and cement job. I am going to use that new bit that I have out here from now on, for both rigs. I don't know if the older bits are a little under gauged or not, but I am not taking the chance. I will see if the Altius shop can build us a gauge ring for 296mm.
